The Remedy Team
Founder & Owner
Jill Gray
In 2014 Jill jumped head first into the practice of yoga as a way to find more purpose, more joy and more connection. She never imagined it would shape her life in such a profound way. When she signed up for the teacher training, she highly doubted becoming a teacher. To stand in front of a room of people and offer the teachings of yoga seemed out of character and unrealistic. Fast-forward to the end of her first training and the tables have turned. She experienced such power and joy that it now seemed like a disservice to not teach. She became a yoga teacher at the 200-hour level in 2015 and started teaching power vinyasa, prenatal yoga and restorative yoga immediately. Her purpose as a teacher is to hold space, and to offer glimpses of the true practice of yoga that transformed her own life. She wishes to share the passion of yoga and to illuminate the joy that can be fostered on and off the mat.
Since her first teacher training, she has completed many more certifications. Jill graduated as a 500-hour level teacher in 2017 as well as an aerial yoga teacher and SUP (stand-up paddle board) teacher in 2018. She is currently enrolled in an additional advanced level training now and has spent many weekends in training for therapeutic yoga, yoga for TBI (traumatic brain injury) yoga for kids and more.
What you can expect from a class with Jill: breath work, class will always integrate the power and simplicity of participating with your breath. She will ask you to tune inward and, to be kind. You can expect her classes to have variety, but she prides herself in meeting the students where they are. She strives to offer yoga that’s accessible to all levels of practitioners. She may mix up left from right every so often, but you can expect to feel calm and strong in her care.
Arianna Chojnowski
Ari’s path into yoga and tai chi began with a passion for helping people move through life’s biggest challenges: injury, illness, aging, and major transitions. As a lifelong athlete, she discovered that one of the greatest remedies for healing is learning how to de-stress the body. That realization led her to complete her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Tai Chi certification, and Reiki Level I training, expanding her approach to healing through both movement and energy.
Now a new mom, Ari continues to stay rooted in the outdoors: running, hiking, paddle boarding, and exploring creative expression through art. Motherhood has deepened her commitment to slowing down, being present, and honoring the body’s natural rhythms.
With deep roots in her New Hampshire community, Ari serves as the Studio Assistant at Remedy Yoga and offers community yoga and tai chi classes at Hatchland Farm in North Haverhill. She is passionate about bringing people together through classes and workshops that inspire strength, mobility, and self-healing through nature.
Larissa Burak
Larissa creates immersive experiences that invite students to explore the science, mysticism, and magic of yoga. Her classes weave together physical embodiment, pranayama, philosophy, and a sense of play, guiding practitioners toward deeper awareness and ease. Certified through Happy Buddha Yoga in Goshen, NY (200-hour YTT, 2013), Larissa approaches each class as an opportunity for discovery, connection, and renewal.

Matthew Cronkite
Yoga connects me to the present moment, to myself, and to the world around me. When my body and mind are practicing together on the mat, I feel both grounded and free. Yoga helps me access and nurture the best parts of myself.
I hope to empower students to build strength and resilience while exploring mindfulness and movement. Through cultivating our own inner peace and determination, we may release that energy into the world to help make it a more beautiful place for all.
In addition to practicing yoga, I enjoy spending time with my dog and husband, attempting to garden, and appreciating our lovely corner of the planet.
Lydia Shahi
Lydia has been teaching yoga for just over a decade. She graduated with her 200 hour YTT from the Joschi Institute in New York with a passion for balancing challenging power flows with a safe anatomical backdrop. One of Lydia’s favorite things about yoga is that it allows her to connect deeply with herself and others. Yoga makes her feel grounded, peaceful and empowered from the inside out. She feels honored to guide others through their practice, and hopes that the joy they experience on their mats will flow into all aspects of their lives.
